Yes. He kept claiming that she was lying about him raping her. She had to prove in court that his claim that she was lying about raping her was false by proving that he did rape her. Whack job had nothing to do with it. Have you read the complaint?

Because they said he was found liable of raping her, which he was not because of a peculiarity of NY law at the time. He was found liable of sexual abuse. And once they passed the MTD ABC folded like a cheap suit on a case most people think they would have won if they fought For bribes.
