Unlike most elections, I think people are genuinely motivated to go vote Liberal this time. Some of it is Carney's experience (and he's honestly a reassuring presence), and some of it is a desire to have a grown-up in place.
Maybe some, but I think that they’ll be disappointed over time. I held my nose and voted but I am deeply concerned with his rightward running.

It’s not just the Cons The libs took most of their gains from the NDP and the Bloc. We have to hope that voters in individual ridings understand their chances for success and vote strategically.

Don't make the same mistake tens of millions of Americans did: fail to vote and say it doesn't matter which of them wins. We've seen how mistaken that idea is with our fascist president.
Long ago I predicted that the race would tighten and I pointed to the Conservatives' campaign war chest that could ramp up advertising and the influence of platforms like X in the final weeks. Let me tell you, I could not get through commercials in the hockey game without seeing Conservative ads.
