It always amuses me that people expect a PM to stick rigidly to past positions after circumstances change significantly. Can't win, adapting is wrong, not adapting is wrong. The key to all this is CUSMA and the US is abiding on most of it and where they are not, Canada still has tariffs.

Further to this, it just proves these incels never wanted a "conservative" government, because Carney is literally a fiscal conservative and doing exactly what a leader w/ conservative ideologies would do. They voted for a brand called "Conservative" w/ colours & logos that made them feel horny

That's because PP and the CPC aren't conservatives. They're the old Reform Party. Carney is a blue Liberal/Red Tory. He's fiscally conservative but still socially progressive (which is why they hate him)

The US also dropped these CUSMA Tarrifs but these Rage Farming losers who are still bitter about Canadians voting with their brains instead of their far-right algorithms wont let us take a break from their constant grift of hating everything about our Country

Captain Obvious here: Reducing or eliminating Canadian tariffs on non-strategic imports BENEFITS Canadian consumers because it makes those imported goods less expensive. The current tariffs aren’t necessarily helpful.

2/ They were imposed in a rush to respond to Trump’s actions, but many don’t actually move Canada’s interests forward and actually hurt ordinary consumers. Give Carney the chance to adjust Canada’s economic policies so they actually protect Canada and advance its interests in beneficial ways.
