Blueskyism? My blueskyism is being on a platform that is less likely to promote unfiltered disinformation and hate. I am not responsible for the fact that many on the Right who spread disinformation and eschew science and facts fail to gain traction here. Left/Right? Just meet basic standards.
I don't mind if there are economic conservatives here. For example, I am fine reading Andrew Coyne's comments whether I agree with him or not. He criticizes others, but he does not insult them. No -tards from him.
I found Twitter to be full of anonymous bots and trolls "who" used insults to get their points across. I left Twitter.
I do know that Bluesky has a progressive audience. I do remind myself and others that Bluesky can sometimes be an echo chamber where the opinions don't always represent the general public in Canada or other places. Even downtown and the suburban Toronto area are different places. Different opinions.

I warned my 57K followers on X a year in advance that I would be leaving and I explained why. Anyone who compares the two platforms as real alternatives is making a false equivalency. X is manipulated by a far-right billionaire who shares more disinformation than anyone else on the planet.
