Even better, because the UK didn't prepare for Brexit, 90% of lorries coming in aren't inspected, so toxic food that can't be sold in the EU is flooding the UK market. We certainly wrested the sovereign right to poison ourselves from those evil Eurocrats. Hurrah!

So true. Racism makes people do stupid things. My Brexit-voting sister-in-law recently informed us that she's going to vote Reform next time. Because sometimes a single kick to the head just isn't enough, apparently.

I can better that, my Sister and her partner voted Leave then Reform, and they have 4 Grandchildren. 3 who are half Greek and one who is half Polish living in the UK??!! She told me there are far to many economic immigrants here, taking up houses.

Amazing. The sheer obliviousness is breathtaking. Like the Irish nurse who lived in the flat below mine, complaining that the Bangladeshi family that moved-in upstairs were "taking all our jobs." Our, Ms. O'Shaughnessy? Who is the "we" of which you speak?

When in comes to Leave voters in my own opinion all of them except the super rich that wanted to avoid the then New EU Tax laws were and most likely are still as thick as 32 short planks

Agreed. My SIL's reasoning for voting Leave was, "We've tried the EU. It's time to try something else." Like it's a new shampoo. The boredom of the stupid is an underappreciated force in politics.

I love that they are all crying about the Interest rate going up now I remember Maggie Thatcher's, "Black Wednesday" when UK Interest Rates went to 17% You can always depend on the Tories to crash the £ and cause inflation and high interest, but they keep voting for them Still they have ReformUK now
