You mean trying to stop the small boats from making the dangerous Channel Crossing? I agree with him. It also takes time and Tax Money to put back into place the things the Tories closed or under-funded. We are just over one year into trying to mend what it took the Tories to break in 15yrs

I understand it takes time to overhaul a system set up to benefit Tory donors who own hotels and floating barges, but all it takes is some awareness not to utter speeches that echo Enoch Powell’s sentiments and to be truthful with ppl that migration is needed, 78% of asylum claims are upheld

To advise ppl that they inherited a broken system and that migrants are not responsible for voters drop in living standards. They managed that by voting Brexit and believing racists in the first place. But there’s no fight, only appeasement from Labour

I disagree with you. Labour has inherited a real mess, they always do after the Tories and they always get the blame for not 'curing it' within 18 months

That’s fair, you can disagree. But to clarify I wasn’t implying that systems can be reversed or new policies implemented and solved after 18 months. But they can & should redirect the conversation with facts instead of pandering to a voting block that will never be satisfied

Yeah pandering to Reform voters or even Tory voters wont end well for anyone, it's not like the right gives a fuck what the left thinks when they're in power, so do what makes your voters happy or risk losing them, Reform voters will never vote Labour to begin with.

Yes you are correct, no ReofrmUK voters was ever going to vote Labour, but they all take what Labour put in place for them, and risk losing it when their 'hero' Farage gets into Power. The really sad thing is, most Reform voters are the least able to afford what Reform will do.

It’s exactly the same with Trump and his policies though. The cruelty to what they view as ‘other’ overshadows all else. Until these attitudes can be put back in their box it will be an issue to be exploited

Maintaining the rhetoric will only alienate the voters that they can count on. Starmer should have stuck with Sue and shown Morgan the door tbh

It will only alienate those that never were really Labour in the first place. Until they and theirs's need what Labour put in place for them. It is my honest opinion, that Labour is getting the blame for what the Tory's did, and that is just fuelling ReformUK rise.

You may be right, I’m not a Labour voter so couldn’t comment. I don’t think that their policies with the WFP or not abolishing the 3rd child rule will do them any favours and these will linger in voters minds. The only vested interest I have is that Scotland get the gov that England vote for

SNP? Such a terrible shame what happened there. They will grow in strength again.

I have no problem with what you vote and which Party you support, that is your choice. But I am watching Trump trying and remove the USA's right to even have another election, and I know Farage is watching with interest too.

I knew from the start that you were not a Labour voter But as I say most everyone despite what Political Party they wanted in power will gladly take what Labour gave us free at the point of need Our NHS will go when Reform get into power Farage has already told us that, he will not fund it from Tax

I vote SNP and will continue to bcos we have the best public services in the UK with progressive socialist policies at the forefront. done within a fixed budget with limited fiscal powers. However as I said I do have a vested interest due to the reserved powers and Labour are not meeting the moment

Thank you, 18 months is too short for any Party to have reversed what the Tories did to us. I still say, moaning about Labour is only fuelling ReformUK. Oddly most ReformUK voters cannot afford what Reform will do to the UK, like privatise the NHS, & Farage has all ready indicated he will.

I moan about Labour bcos I vote for a more progressive party in the SNP and clearly have a separate vision for my country. But I stand by that appeasement is not the way to change minds and attitudes. Implementation can take time but communication of the facts doesn’t and Labour are not tackling it
