Hi Sylvia, Doesn’t everyone look forward to start of year testing. I guess it might be helpful in measuring progress but, then again, not sure it’s smart to hit kids with it before they’re back in the swing of things. Life is good here. One more week then we head back to Mass.

I’m glad you are doing well. I’m sure your weather is better than ours. As always. It’s monsoon season here, so it’s been close to 120 w/ 70% humidity one day, then pouring cats and dogs the next. Unfortunately, the heat and humidity remains even though it’s windy and cloudy. Feels terrible!

I don't know how you do it. I couldn't. I can't stand the hot, humid days, and we never get over 100. On our bad days, even with AC, I will shower 2-3 times a day, and sometimes feel clammy before I am dressed. Of course, your winters are better than ours, but I'll take NE anyday. One more day.

It used to snow. We get very little in Mass, more in Maine. It's actually pretty. And, unlike years ago, people aren't expected to go very far when it's snowing.
