Yea, people do tend to need incentives to innovate, work, continue to progress our nation economically. Is capitalism an imperfect system? Absolutely. Is it still the BEST system if regulated properly. I've yet to see any evidence to the contrary. pittnews.com/article/5424...
the lack of profit incentive doesn't necessitate the lack of incentive altogether like I said in a different comment, unfortunately the greed is sort of inbuilt to our humanity, and we're so deep into profit rather than the more fulfilling joy of doing for others that there's no going back
