No, I can understand that even though I've used the term for anyone in the past, it could be perceived as a denial of pronouns to a trans person, and that that isn't a concern for cis people. If I referred to cis Bob with a "they" in the past, no one thought anything of it and neither did I.

I don't think cis people are affected more by misgendering than trans people, I just didn't get called out for misgendering a cis guy named Bob compared to when I misgendered my trans cousin, so cis people aren't concerned about being misgendered, unlike you trans people"
Nobody would ever think I was denying Bob was a cis man. In my entire life, if someone wanted to misgender a cis person, they would refer to them with their opposite pronouns. Calling a boy a girl and vice versa. Or "it," perhaps some others. If I say, "they're such a stinker" nobody would blink.
