The problem with this is Congress has no enforcement arm. They can make all the laws they like, they require the executive to enforce them

I know. But the president doesn't have the right to pass tariffs....and here we are. If he can do that, why can't they do what is not theirs to do?

the president can pass tariffs because he controls the enforcement of that. again, Congress can pass whatever laws they want but who or what is going to physically enforce the following of those laws?

if states dont they get the Natl Guard sent in, possibly, as we're seeing. thats the enforcement arm say congressional Dems pass a law that says the president cant have a crypto coin. Trump changes nothing. by what mechanism is he forced to? is chuck schumer going to personally fight him over it?

Then stop the national guard. The felon needs to be treated as such. And dems need to figure out how. Personally I'd love a fight between Schumer and the felon...and least we'd all get a much needed laugh.

i mean, yeah, i agree. but Congress doesnt have their own military force so, again, they can make whatever laws they want, they lack the ability to enforce them
