I don't think it's ALL we have. We have resistance on the ground. We have decentralized communication networks and planning groups. We have a lot of people, highly motivated, pushing back. What we need is to maintain perspective, hold onto hope, and hold onto each other.
The part that drives me up the wall, that I have no idea how to effectively address, is that we don't have the DNC in this fight, and we NEED effective political resistance for the midterms if we're to stop this insanity.
The DNC may not be organized and out there holding rallies, but we do have individual governors and Congress members. The best thing the DNC can do right now is make certain that in every race possible they have a Dem candidate running, even in areas previously thought to be deep red.
I don't disagree. I'm hopeful, but.... man. Seeing how they did us in 2016, 2024, and the stuff they're doing in NY right now has me real, reeaal nervous.
Only a fool would be calm while fascism is in control. But so far, some semblance of democracy is holding on despite rampant abuse. Only time will tell if the American experiment will hold true or fail. I'm betting on America.

I wish I had more to offer. But sometimes hope is all we have. Still, it's a good thing. We have to stay motivated, because if the midterms swing the way they always do, this administration will finally have some push back. It won't reverse everything, but it will slow the bleeding.
