Honestly all the reporting about how much his family loves it in Eugene and Oregon, and not just from local reporters, has me pretty convinced that he means it when he says he wants to stay as long as he can. He's got resources and recruiting success here in much less of a pressure cooker situation
Plus I think Bama fans and others are kidding themselves if they thought DeBoer got the call before Lanning

Oh for sure, lol, but I honestly believe him. His wife's been through a cancer battle and his young kids have already moved across the country and seem to love it here. He's in a good spot that's only getting better
