Pfiz/Moderna/Novavx got billions of US taxpayers' dollars in grants to develop vaccines. They did and now they are selling them to foreign countries and their citizens are getting vaccinated for free. But, we, the people whose taxes paid for the development of the vaccines, can't get them here!
That we are not ALLOWED to take them here is not the fault of Pfizer, Moderna, or Novavax. Nor is it those companies' fault that other countries are willing to stock up on vaccines and provide them to their citizens for free. Of course, rich Americans who want vaxes will vacay overseas to get them.
Companies' job is to develop their products. Governments of other countries care for their citizens. Our government serves all of us. We should NOT be ASKING our government for vaccines. We all need to contact our reps in Congress and DEMAND that vaccines MUST be available to all who want them.
