You really think Couchfucker Vance can hold MAGA together when they're disintegrating into increasingly insane conspiracy theories about how their Messiah died? He's more likely to get blamed for Trump's death and lynched, like they tried to do with Pence.

A lot of the MAGA base comes from supporting the man himself and the public image he created. He kicks it, a chunk of them stay home next election.

None of his family, nor any single member of the Republican Party or right wing media sphere at large can remotely measure up to his charisma and cult of personality.

Yeah, Vance lacks the ability to hold all of Trump's other sycophants together. They're already all at odds with each other and as soon as he's gone, they'll start tearing each other apart in their desperate attempts to be the one on top

So handing the reigns over to someone with the same "values", but more intelligent, is fine so long as he dies? Trump didn't _create_ his base, he just exacerbated issues politicians have been using to keep people divided.

The difference is that now people are actively seeing the brutality around them that was always there, just not as obviously because it wasn't being screamed at them by an orange buffoon.

I know the reality is that Trump isn't the end of the problems going on in the US, but man is ever going to be a national holiday in my house when he goes.

If he hasn't make a public appearance before the press by now, given how vain and obsessed with how he's perceived he is, it must be pretty bad. He isn't long for this world, but he could at least have the decency to hurry up for once.

This is what just struck me - given how terminally online he is, its very odd for him not to be ranting about 'Fake News' and or some conspiracy to take him down or other. Probably still wishful thinking. But.
