If Russian promises had worth, Russia would be defending Ukraine's 1992 borders in exchange for all those nukes actually delivered to Russia by Ukraine. Russian promises being worthless, there's no point to sacrificing anything to obtain one. Russia must be defeated and its neighbors get this.
