The goal isn’t for the federal government to make money… it’s to privatize everything so THOSE corporations make money… and citizens will pay MORE because we will either fund for-profit companies to do what federal agencies previously did, or pay for services independently out of pocket.
But everything is billed as “free market” and “competition”, as if having competition will somehow undermine the fact that it’s still FOR PROFIT.
