Itβs sad that House Democrats and Shapiro let this happen to people of color and low-income communities.
They need to sue the PA REPUBLICANS not Septa. REPUBLICANS did this.

One might point out that bus service pretty much only affects "people of color and low-income communities"

This is the reality for Cities today. But Trump can make a declaration, and send unlimited amounts of money for soldiers to pick up trash and remodel the train station.
* and people unable to drive due to disability.
So.. cutting Regional Rail & Busses. What is Septa's plans for these assets. We storing trains and busses now? Doesn't sound fiscally smart. Septa selling the excess trains? Selling the busses? What are they doing with rail stations (upkeep wi$e) that aren't serviced by Amtrack?
I feel like a pawn in this political game.... Regime cuts funding to punish blue cities, Septa cuts some of it's busiest (and most revenue generating) lines to intensify the impact. Meanwhile the state can just legalize recreational Cannabis and use the tax revenue to make this all moot. But do we?
