I saw The Cure in London, four days after nasal surgery. When they played Push, everyone stood and punched the air for the "go go GO!" bit, including me – at which point my nose began gushing blood. Still, if you're going to have gore dripping down your face, a Cure show is a good place for it.

Oh, 100%. My sister was with me and thoughtfully asked if I wanted to leave. But it was one of the best shows we've been to, so we stayed, I tipped my head back and waited 20 minutes for the bleeding to stop... probably freaking the fuck out of the folks behind us. Oh well...
