If the FCC tries to revoke licenses, the networks need to broadcast anyway and revoke the FCC’s authority. Until we have a real POTUS, SCOTUS, and legislature again (and not a bunch of pretenders who are disqualified either by the Constitution or federal law), they have no authority.

They do license local affiliates. But they can still wreak havoc on major networks by launching frivolous investigations. That effectively halts mergers and acquisitions, so it puts a dent in the revenue stream. Add to that a frivolous SLAPP suit from 💩, and they can do some real damage.

They can't go after the local affiliates unless they violate some FCC rule. Otherwise, they'll have to challenge them in court. Also, keep in mind - FCC licenses do not effect streaming or cable. The local stations can still show their local programming on cable even WITHOUT a license
