Washburne (also now fired from NIH) is now being accused by ex-NIH firee Nickels and Ebright of being a lying turncoat and working with ‘Fauci NIH staffers’ to thwart outlawing of all GoF (ie virology research) and influencing JayB who they now say is naive and incompetent.

Nickels seems to have been fired for gossiping to Emily Kopp of the Daily Caller (he denies this) about new NIAID Director and his falling out with JayB.
