What a terrible name to get to a boring acronym, plus they're just recycling "NBC News Now," the parent company's streaming news channel's name.

I think it gives separation for Maddow, Psaki, Steele, etc, to stay in TACO’s face without threat to NBC. Name may not be creative or the best, but they have a strategy behind it. Will it work 🤷‍♀️
