I'm pretty surprised to hear that, because I've seen a lot of corporate trainings and DEI programming and never heard that "urgency" is white supremacy, much less punctuality. So I'm not sure this is actually a common thing. But hey! You have actually seen it in the wild, so maybe I'm wrong.

It sounds like it was a module trying to raise cultural awareness of the difference between Monochronic and Polychronic time. But if their takeaway from that was "urgency is racist" either the presenter was bad or they just totally missed the point.

Anyway, thanks for answering honestly, but I think the connection from that experience to the Democratic party is not organic or rational, and it should be fought on those grounds rather than trying to fight them directly.

I have seen a *bunch* of conservatives complain about that, but every corporate DEI training I have done is transparently an attempt to avoid getting sued.

The notion that someone’s politics are being derived by a 45 video they have to watch at work is so obviously made up, how do people fall for it.

though to be fair I stopped reading the slides after I realized I could pass the quizzes just by looking at the answers, so for all I know they're telling me to kill all white people
