No when my hubby built our deck he built them an add on that is a little walkway for the dogs to access the wall because he knew they love walking along it and they would have to jump up so this makes it seamless for them. He’s a keeper 🩷

I’ve never had a girl dog before so I never witnessed this kind of Daddy daughter bond. It’s very special and Kiki exploits it. Elvis sits back and wonders why he can’t get such love from Dad but he doesn’t know how to work it like she does.

The best part was when he showed the design to my neighbour, who is a contractor and who helped Mike build it, he asked why he did that little extension. When Mike told him he said ‘of course, that makes total sense’. He loves his animals too 🩷

She did but it was too cold to sit on it. The deck, though, is outstanding.

Did you trot along the top of the wall?

She is strictly prohibited from climbing, walking on narrow things, or trotting. What if she falls and breaks a hip? Who is going to get me my dinner. She mostly sat and consumed wine, a safe activity.
