Sadly, today ends my 11 day staycation. I don’t want to brag but I did jack shit and I loved it! I didn’t solve any problems or make any difficult decisions (pizza or panzo was the hardest). Also, thankfully it’s a 3 day week ahead (I don’t work Fri’s anymore) 😀

Several years here in Lansing, we had an outdoor music festival. Some of those years I took vacation that week. That week I would take in some shows, maybe movies and also enjoyed just reading at home.
Those are the best vacations. Kicking back, living in the moment and enjoying every minute. Happy Labour Day!

Human loves nothing more than being home with no obligations! Doesn't happen very often between work and school. Plus, when he takes PTO it's usually used to visit family out of state.
I love going places, but it is nice not to pack, unpack, pack.... worry about a schedule, getting everyone else moving, and motivated.

Sometimes sitting at home and doing nothing is exactly what you need. My last 2 vacations were a week sitting at home and relaxing.
I have the last week of the year off for that type of vacation this year.

Well done! That's what vacations are for. (I always give myself a long list of things to do around the place on my breaks. If I do even one of the tasks I am inordinately proud of myself).
