She can't say yes to Hochul because they're from the same state, which nullifies the electors from said state - a weird quirk of the Constitution from when there were only 13 states and barely millions of Americans

but I agree that she wouldn't accept VP. It's a completely worthless job. She's too focused on doing actual work to park herself in an office that has "wait your turn" written on it.

The job is worthless in that you have no function. You have no power. Almost everyone that's done it has hated it. Gore hated it. Cheney hated it. Biden hated it. Harris hated it. It's not something she has any reason to accept.

And I'm personally doubtful she'd ever run for President anyway, she's said she prefers legislative work and constituent services so many times and I don't know how people ignore it

She's not gonna do any of this because Senate as you say, but I would not knock trying to be the Dem VP as a way to get a shot at being a Dem president given our history

VPs have a really dodgy track record at actually being president, and I for one and tired of anointing them as the next nominee anyway
