they are wrong in the details but they are correct in that affordability is a problem, and has been for a while. sure, we can't touch grocery margins but we can go after housing, healthcare, child care and transportation which are the actual largest line items in people's budget.
they wont care about $8 Oreo or whatever if their rent and child care costs are lowered substantially. I get that it's really frustrating that people don't know as much about the issues as you or I do but calling them stupid is not going to work. even if it's true. we do need to actually kill glonzo
