i am of two minds on this. we need to find a way to make contractors shrink costs and fight the rampant overcharging and underdelivering in the defense industry but there is nobody i trust less to do that than trump and his slack-jawed goons. idk if nationalizing is the answer but it isnt right now

but then there is the other side saying there is never going to be a better time to get a cut of the pie than right now and he wont live forever. that then runs into the fact that dems(or whoever else with good will) wont be in power forever and handing the next fasc a fully primed MIC is a mistake
Yeah I'm very unclear that unlimited unaudited Pentagon funding for decades wasn't already a military industrial complex. Maybe eventually we get cost controls.
