My Calc III prof was skipping office hours to go workout with a buddy from the physics dept, so admin moved his office to the 2nd floor near them. He broke his arm after climbing out the window and discovering the ivy covering the old brick couldn’t hold him. He was brilliant and we adored him.
I think my calc 3 prof must’ve been an old hippy. One day we came in and he had the words “a long long time ago” written on the board and asked us if we knew what it was. Of course I knew it was the first line of American pie. I think it was the anniversary of the plane crash or something.
Everything beyond Calc I is legitimately just going insane intentionally
Lol They made us take Fortran I and II as well. As English majors. Pretty sure most of us made it through with a lot of heavy drinking and cursing.
On the other end of the range was a history prof who lived with his mother, really hated that the school had gone co-ed, required men to wear ties in class, and insisted on calling his exams rallies and holding them at midnight on Wednesday nights. We weren’t so keen on him.
