Y’all do realize there are plenty of Democrats in the state, right? Almost all of the urban areas vote Democratic, the rural folk and all the gerrymandering at the state level are what ruins it.

If Texas negates Democrat voters, isn't that the same result as becoming a territory for those dems? We could take and divide it into two or three territories and watch them grow to statehood!

I'm rural, own/operate a ranch and farm and have voted democratic for the last 32 years in Texas. as @snowbuni.bsky.social says, please don't paint all of us the broad brush - we #resist and oppose #corruption as much as possible, but the deck is stacked. We continue to press for reforms.

Exactly. There are many Dems in Texas who don’t wish to secede from the United States. We’re trying hard to get representation.
