Considering she moved back to the UK when she was 5, I think you are overstating that particular influence. Funfact: I know a bilingual pa that worked with her parents on ave Bugeaud wayback in 1992.

Decent campsite though.
Fish in a barrel ..
You’re familiar? you lucky man
The tribes of intra and extramuros Paris are fascinating subjects. From the squatters of the eastern banlieues through to the multi-millionaires of ave Foch, the raggamuffins of Seine Saint-Denis to the prissy from Issy ... if I’m not careful I’ll start quoting Rutger Hauer. .
I noticed you missed out the Saint-Germainois, cos we're the best, right? right ? :p
I mean if you exclude the Vésigondins…
I was going to make a smart remark but we're allies, basically the same
Except we’re all in bed by 9
yeah true dat
You’re very very special x
that's lovely, my daughter will be happy :)
Would love to read a 101 / beginners' guide to Parisian neighbourhoods. Any suggestions? Very occasional, curious visitor. Recently stayed near Place d'Italie. Thoughts on 13eme?
This looks like fun .. www.the-tls.com/world/travel...
The beating heart of Paris. I am no longer young, you have to have a very good reason to be there apart Imax and a chinese restaurant. No book recommendations, I saw it irl at ground level on foot, on bike and by car. Les Olympiades (the film) is a good entrée. Bonne découverte!
Going to be staying in the 13ème for a couple of nights next month so will give that a watch in preparation, thanks!
The new Ikea is another reason.
Thanks. As a not-heaving-with-people base for us it was perfect. Some interesting bits & bobs, too. Will look up Les Olympiades.
