Once again, these hotels are unsuitable accommodation for the people living there. They sprung up because hotels were empty (Brexit) and because of COVID (public health/homelessness) and because the Tories basically stopped processing cases properly (backlog).

It is time for hotel accommodation to end with a proper PLAN and FUNDING from Govt. which INCLUDES asylum-seekers as part of our communities and not some "other" that doesn't belong here. They are here, they do belong, they are the public. Treat them that way.

Imagine if we shut down every abortion clinic because people were protesting there? No. The show goes on, the service gets delivered, protestors get buffer zoned. Sure you can free speech, but it isn't going to stop us. And no you're not allowed to be violent. Thank you.

It boggles the mind that the government doesn't allow integration from the moment they arrive throughout out the process. Work, council accommodation, health, etc. Why is it so difficult to offer dignity and integration I'll probably never understand. Current Labour governemnt's biggest failure.

Bizarrely, the previous govt carried out studies into what you propose and found them to be more beneficial and cheaper by all metrics.
