We can blame this all on one man, sure. But don't ever, ever forget the hundreds, thousands in authority with power to stop this, sitting idly by while our country implodes.

They're just as equally to blame. They were either so blinded by their greed or their devotion to him that they forgot who they were supposed to be working for. But the blame can go back generations to those who screwed the system and those who saw what was happening and did nothing.
