I'm not sure we do, not to take our democracy back - we need to resist, we need to use the courts abd the streets and the virtual public spaces where we can refuse to accept authoritarianism. We can win this without a leader. But then, we must rebuild, and for that, we need a leader. We need an FDR

No one is coming to save us. Most of us aren't willing to die for nothing, and that's what it would feel like we're fighting for. Too many people don't think, don't care, don't get it. And it would be a waste to try and be a hero for people like that.

I disagree. I think we need to understand that We the People mean us. Our system is fundamentally broken and the only way we fix it is by each of us becoming civically engaged and wanting to participate in civil society. A leader just lets is wave from the sidelines.

Looking for a hero starts with a mirror and a community. Patriots offline communicating, conducting coordinated guerilla protests nationwide and ideally a prolonged strike. Existing leaders from every state need to strategize and negotiate while managing finances/ donations.
