This whole thread made me laugh! Here's to a Canadian Dictionary. (But where's the double double entry?)

Haha, good one, double double indeed. But let's not mention any more double entendres, okay everyone? Unless you want to get your mouth washed out with ๐งผ that is... ๐
Pottymouthtastic. All the way. Best thread on Bluesky for a while.
Thanks! It certainly was an experience... ๐ฝ ๐งผ ๐ ๐ฅ ๐ ๐
I held back, for fear of making it cleaner. Would've been the only time my whole life. Actually I like jokes that do that. What's pink and hard? A pig with a flick knife.
Held back? Totally taking the credit, cuz you can't stop me. ๐ I'm actually not really a joke person, tho I like yoursโฌ๏ธ. Stand-up comics who deliver one unrelated joke after another (no matter how clever) leave me cold. Prefer jokes that are related, as in a story. But you didn't ask, did you? ๐
Didn't ask, but glad you told me.
As long as I didn't insult you? Because of course after posting I realized that that may actually be your preferred style of joke-telling, and I'm sorry if I caused any offence. Cuz offending strangers is one thing (when it's appropriate to do), but offending friends is another. ๐๏ธ
No offence at all, Wozza. I like a lot of different styles and types of comedy, and there are so many, we can focus on whichever common ground we both appreciate.
By the way (and this'll be the last thing I have to say on this dubious topic), for those not in the know ๐ง, 'double double' is a classic Canadian term (even added to the Canadian Oxford Dictionary) meaning a coffee with 2 creams + 2 sugars, usually ordered at Tim Hortons. NO other meaning, okay? ๐ค
I am now going to inject a very wholesome post to get our minds off of you-know-what --- look, duckies! ๐
