We grow avocados, rice, and fruits here. The southern states and California grow many of those. I’m against the tariffs, but be realistic in your criticisms.

ENOUGH FOR THE ENTIRE FUCKING COUNTRY?!
no, but like they were just saying that theres a difference between "cant be grown" and "can only be grown in very specific places that would make giving it to the whole country extremely difficult, if not impossoble"
I just did a bit of reading, and you are correct that, for example, the vast majority of rice consumed in the US is grown domestically.
The only state that grows coffee is Hawaii (only Kona) and they aren’t going to make enough for the whole country even if they wanted to. The issue is we don’t have enough places we can grow the amounts of many things we want year round. And we don’t have enough ppl that want that kind of job.
Oh for sure, you guys are toast if you actually pursue this MAGA Juche nonsense.
Actually we grow very little of avocados and rice. And good luck finding a whole lot of fruits in Dec and Jan.
The brand of rice I buy is literally grown in California. It’s sold nationwide. Then there’s golden rice of the Carolina’s. Wild rice of the Midwest. Her statement was inaccurate.
Funny. Huge bags at Costco aren’t domestic. Sad.
I buy cal rose rice at Costco. It’s literally grown in California. Your arguments need to be accurate to be accepted.
Wild rice is not actually rice.
Ok. Her statement was still not accurate
It’s a lot more accurate than yours, but go ahead and pay through the nose for the precious few avocados and rice this country cannot sustainably grow for 330 million citizens.
I’m against the tariffs, but you’re just wrong.
