so did you read the 900+ pages of Project2025? She recommended to do that.

He must have missed that😡 900 pages that are rolling out right before our eyes 😡😡😡 Yet people are still CHOOSING not to see it. SMFH
It was awful from day one to watch.
She didn't just recommend reading the 900+ doc. That wouldn't have been realistic given some overlook the sarcasm in a post. 🤔 She talked about specific parts and Dems also made condensed versions widely available with sites like: The People’s Guide to Project 2025 share.google/a0qiQbajV0W0...
And the campaign shared handy dandy graphics with bulleted highlights!
They even had famous people read excerpts from a giant copy of the document.
AND politicians. It.was.every.where. bsky.app/profile/patr...
Exactly. and there were tons of still today existing instagram channels that showed these pamphlets/bullet lists and explained in 3 mins clips more details. Or tiktok.
And Taraji P. Henson talked about it at the BET Awards. You didn’t have to care about politics to have heard about Project 2025 and at least some of the damage Republicans wanted to do.
💯
I also saw absolutely no lack in where MVP went to campaign. It kept building momentum real fast I remember when we were tense about it over here (“what is she gonna do?”) and then suddenly a whole schedule was out right about a year ago.
@nypoliticalmom.bsky.social read it to us like a nightmare bedtime story. Then we worked our asses off to prevent it but here we are.
that's magnificent, especially because p2025 comes across like a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Man, I didn’t really see the sheep’s clothing it felt more like an apocalyptic demon in wolf’s clothing. 🤪
I kept hearing the handmaid’s tale soundtrack echoing everytime I read in it. seeing Musks Doge posts starting June/July didn’t make it easier. At times I asked folks. Yo, seen this? Are you aware? what is he doing? answer: “we got this” almost every time..
Who said, “we got this?”
it was a very optimistic response by folks I interacted on Twitter a year ago. might be because they saw I don’t live in the US

Ohh. Hope it was ppl who weren’t already immersed in politics… like ppl who only go on Twitter to talk music/sports. Ppl who work their ass off to get the other 2/3rds of Americans to pay attention probably just get frustrated if you’re telling them what they’re already trying to convince others.
I did that when whitedudesforharris came online.
I made the kind of folks from culture or music or even weirdo-adjacent ones aware of much larger democrat accounts… who were either continuously building their following or already had huge momentum - due to their lucid presentations of the real and present danger. that was my approach then.
