I was there as well, but now I'm taking a longterm view. Making a move now fasttracks the rebuild for sure, but in 5 years looking back will it be the best move from an asset Mgt standpoint? In 1 year they will know a lot more about what they have and what they need. I'm trying to be patient!

Patience is KEY but I also want Laine and Demidov a center that can help them flourish as offensive weapons. Newhook and Evans are NOT the answer. I STILL believe Dach could be but.....can he stay healthy for 80-82 games?

This won't be a popular take, but I don't think Nick and Slaf should be on the same line - at least until Slaf fully arrives. The hockey IQ of Laine/Nick/Demi would be off the charts. Cole/Dach/Slaf as the 2nd line.

Too early to change lines. That first line is carrying its weight. I would wait until Demidov and Laine are delivering before mixing up lines. The 2C just needs to be good on offence and better on defence to make that second line work.

I see what you're saying. To me, it's a let's see what happens with the 2nd line of Laine-Dach-Demi. If Demi can't get chemistry, you flip him with Slaf. Slaf and Dach had brief chemistry and could work well on a line together. Again....as long as Dach can stay healthy. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I don’t understand why when you have statistically one of the 5 best lines in all of hockey (13-14-20) why would you want to change that??? It makes no sense. Let Demidov drive the play on the second line. Talk about over coaching

I agree but I also want a motivated Demidov and not one "stuck" on a line thst doesn't help him. IF he has the ability to drive a line then cool, ignore what Isuggested and we move forward. 👍🏻👍🏻

If he is as good as the experts say, he will drive any line mates
