Made a video about drifting in Sonic Racing Crossworlds. Maybe people who are struggling will come across this video, just by numbers we know that the prior Sega racing games were not massively popular, so people are unfamiliar with this style of drift mechanic.

I always liked how these games let you swap directions and keep your boost.

It's also neat for the depth of the racing, because if you want to have good driving lines but your initial angle into the turn is wrong and you need to counter drift to adjust, you have to figure that out quickly, otherwise you're gonna come out of the turn wide as hell.

I play with the triggers like the other Sonic games, button accelerate feels wrong to me.

I actually won a good number of online races today because I found the best setup (for me, anyway) to get Lvl. 4 boosts as quickly as possible.

I knew you could swap directions while drifting but I didn't know about the turning getting heavier the longer the drift. Gotta incorporate that into normal turns instead of just switching
