I just now searched NY Times for info on Trump's illness or bruised hand or health concerns - nothing came up. They spent weeks covering Biden's age after the debate. Their bias is quite stunning.

When reporting on Ernst’s decision not to run for reelection, they went out of their way to say she’s a sexual assault survivor, but not that she had an affair with a lobbyist she’s supposed to be regulating. They have never reported on that. The NYT is right wing propaganda.

It’s probably not so much bias as it is the asymmetry between the parties. The media companies know that Trump will bring down the immense power of the Federal Government upon them and they knew that Biden would never even consider doing so.

C'mon, this is a press that based its entire assassination attempt coverage on "the Trump campaign said so". Not a single medical report. No reporter ever saw the wound. It was 100% "we trust Trump". Of course they won't make a big deal about Trump's health if he says he's fine.

9/1/25 - after days of speculation on social media about Trump's health and whereabouts - that seems to be a story @nytimes.com remains uninterested in covering. Maybe age matters only if the president is Biden.
