Also, did you report them? More importantly, did their comments radicalize you or did you use your thinking cap (aka critical thinking skills) to determine they aren’t worth your time?

See my previous comment about trolls, bots, etc. There is not the wholesale hate that you find on Twitter.
> 'Bluesky is a kinder, gentler place with better moderation.' All of which is untouched by a single anecdote. "But look at this black swan" only works if your argument was that people weren't saying it was kind/gentl*er* but *absolutely* lacking in incivility.
This is the place where standard critiques of 'progressives' collide (i) they're into purity politics and won't engage with pragmatic "better-than" consideration (ii) they think they're *so great* because they're not white supremacists but let me tell they're not perfect
I think you can close the circle on this with "this is just bog standard internal 'progressive/social liberal' discourse, with usual countervailing arguments about what should and should not be tolerated / who is focussing too much/not enough on principles or pragmatism".
On the actual substance, I think everyone is in agreement that Twitter and Facebook politics groups are *waaay* more aggressive, unpleasant places with worse moderation.
