I’m not really an expert in this area (so of course I comment!!! 😊) but shouldn’t she be allowed to earn an income on her on own image and story? It is her, after all? If she’s not taking taxpayer money and has a family to support, where’s the harm to you, me or anyone else?

the Sussex’s are still affiliated to the royal family. I’m a Brit, I don’t speak for all but the turning a royal figure into a lifestyle influencer to many appears tone-deaf to challenges of many less privileged in the UK. She’s using her station in a false meticulously curated fantasy to sell.

…I don’t think it’s going to last, the Netflix ($100M) show, the other season was self-indulgent and shallow. When I watched it I didn’t get anything that was authentic from it. Though it was trying to cast that image. She can make money, plenty of royals do, but not the right angle at all.

First of all, her name needs to be Catherine and also she needs to be white. Then it can start there.

Defo the royal family as an institution is racist. If she was white and doing exactly the same, she’d be pummelled again, but less so .

This is just not about Megan. It’s the same for any individual that uses the privilege of a raised position to financially benefit over those that don’t have that lift. I’m not comparing Megan to Melania Trump, but she’s doing the same thing for a different audience.
