I was going to criticize Nintendo for their Eurasian bias for city tracks in Mario Kart Tour/8 but then I remembered that finding good cities for the game in Middle East/Africa (regions I felt were completely ignored) is basically impossible

like the only cities in those regions I could think that are 1) well known enough and 2) not warzones or sources of active conflicts are Cairo, Dubai, Casablanca, and Istanbul (which is famous for being on the border of Europe and Asia)
