My kids love the modern version. I don't have the heart to tell them the truth, much less about the existence of Dinky Donuts (which I only got to try once at a sleepover dammit!)

I found out a few days ago that cheap ice cream uses high fructose corn syrup now. It tastes awful. Right in the trash. You can't just substitute it for sugar in everything. It kinda has a sour mash flavor.
