So, um, what do we do here that’s different from over there?

Less blockage of external links. So say Tortilla Tournament can receive full billing with a thumbnail: open.substack.com/pub/gustavoa...
Gracias for RB!
Not having to deal with racists and other varieties of pendejos makes replying more pleasant…
Two big differences: 1) You make your own algorithm. 2) Blocking is effective. For those of us who don't need to be immersed in the zeitgeist it keeps things manageable.
Another difference, you can use your own domain name to be "verified", but it's not quite perfect yet because if you use your domain it frees up your existing handle for someone else to use. This is something they are working on a fix for.
You can set an alias to equate the two (or more).
Thank you for the invitation to join you here! ✌🏼
You are limited to 300 characters. This is probably not an issue for seasoned newspaper-vatos like you, but for those of us who have built their reputation as writers around florid and purple prose, it proves to be quite a challenge.
That's why God invented blogs.
HA!
¡Orale!
Hopefully, less worship of… that hamburger place.
HA!
Well, apparently the algorithm actually shows me your posts!
For starters, there is no "The Algorithm" because BSky aint Twitter. It's up to each user how to experience all the variations here, but many can't stand the freedom.
