The sad part about this is that if the lowest do better the top do better also. Unfortunately we will never know.

We pay taxes on everything we buy. That tax is kept by corporations that pay zero taxes. NO corporate BAILOUTS. They tanked the economy they should reap what they sow.

Just to drive your point home: product prices always include all the taxes corporations need to pay. They also include all the profits kept in the company or paid out to the shareholders. With every product we buy, more money is transferred to people wealthier than us, if govts don't tax them.

Majority of people don't understand it. They think that corporations are for consumers, but the opposite is true. If corporations get rich, it's only because they got something for less than it was truly worth and then sold it for more than it was truly worth.

Agreed, the purpose for most corporations is to make a profit. Every single factor from overhead to raw materials to labor to taxes is plugged in to a formula to generate a base cost to the company for a product. The desired profit is added. Any middlemen add costs also. We are the end of the line.
