From an electoral perspective, I believe that doing everything we can to offer better material conditions is the only way to counter the propaganda machine. From a personal perspective, I will never voluntarily accept living in a system where closing hospitals is the only option available.
Hey guess what, this was the platform of our last presidential contender. The people we are not in a union with and who are in fact waging a cultural and fiscal war on us rejected it because they were tired of having to pretend they gave a shit about the lives of humans besides themselves.

There is nothing you can say that will convince me that we shouldn’t make an effort at the state level to backfill all hospital operational funds lost due to Medicaid cuts.
