Been spending time using web browsers in completely fresh operating systems (long story) and I didn’t realize how much worse things are now. From out-of-the-box Edge, every single website looks (and performs) like the sketchiest p/rn or pirated content site in the world.
Try Brave browser. The only one that gives you a decent and honest internet out of the box.
Everyone put all their efforts into apps. The issue with that is that it keeps users in a fence. I’m also just really sick of every single function having its own app.
If every public HTML webpage disappeared tomorrow except for government website and the Internet Archive, that would not be a loss at all.
