Ummmm, we raised the bed with risers on each foot to make the crawl under and out easier for this girl, Bowie. At 5ft, I need a step to get in the bed... priorities 😬😊

If he didn’t use his beans to scoot himself under and out the bed. It would be like us using our big toe to push us around on the floor.
How much space is under there? Can you use it for something? I had a similar problem under a couch, and two of the large rectangular foam dog beds took up the space.
It’s king sized bed so a lot of space! It’s a dogs paradise
Maybe some flat plastic storage bins that you can place under the bed at the perimeter?
Spare tires Firewood Cinderblocks Wooden drawers Extra parking Inflatable raft
Tupac does like to pee on tires.
Ok knock that off the list then How about cases of canned goods
Tupac loves a good canned item
Cinder blocks? Chewable and yet peeable, all at the same time.
And while we're on the subject, WHY aren't these things sold as Dog size? We know who's really sleeping on them!
Depends on how many dogs you have
Notice I did not make that plural. Sometimes you need more than one.
Maybe just rent the space out for storage
Or a box spring
How about a bunch of goodwill comforters stuffed into huge ziploc bags? Or a sonotube from lowe's www.lowes.com/pd/QUIKRETE-... Or even just cardboard boxes duct taped together?
These photos are a WHOLE MOOD.
Are Tupac and Gronch related? I think they have such a similar look about them.
That is a @flightriskmushing.bsky.social or @otterrunkennel.bsky.social question.
Probably distantly, there's some popular studs that are really common far back in pedigrees. But as far as I know, not related. I don't have Grinch's pedigree but I can make a guess at his lineage
Thanks for sharing that! It's so interesting.
Do you want a potentially weird suggestion?
I would like to hear the potentially weird suggestion…
Wrap the legs of the bed frame in something (paper, plastic wrap, whatever) to protect them from sticky residue. Then run duct or gaffer tape all the way around, from one leg to the next, in rows, until you’ve made a temporary fence. 1/2
You can put paper or something on the sticky side to keep it from attracting lint and crap. As long as the pup doesn’t chew through the tape (run it tight enough and from top to bottom so they can’t get purchase), it should last and be removable with no damage! 2/2
Oh, alternatively you can put a fitted mattress protector under the legs and up around the frame, then tape it in place, but that requires lifting each corner of the bed.
Alternatively, she could fill the space under the bed with borzois to block the space. I estimate that 15-20 borzois should do the trick.
Alec once managed to squeeze under Cat Mom’s bed. That was easy. Don’t ask about getting him back out again. 🤦♀️
Doe can get under but can’t get out. 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
That’s why I’d probably go with the tape first rather than a fitted sheet. You can stretch the tape tight so she can’t squirm under it. (Also black tape will basically look invisible.)
Interesting
Fix everything with duct tape or WD-40.
Yes
Storage bins!
Take the legs off the bed frame.. 💚
I dunno if that will make it too low for me to get out of bed without swearing or struggling. I’ll have to measure.
It's a little extreme, but maybe 4x4 posts bolted together underneath so he can't push through?
