I wish people would stop the reductionist "all cars deadly weapons therefore they must all go" argument. I tend to reply reply in kind. The reality is that the argument is nuanced and trade off of risks is involved. Start there and maybe a useful discussion can be had.

You miss the point and are trying to cover ignorance with “nuance” - no one (outside of pie-in-the-sky dreamers) wants private cars gone - they want usage reduced and alternatives made available - You are embiggening the argument into silliness because the reality of it is really common sense.
