It isn't that she didn't get AIPAC money; she actively opposed the genocide in Gaza. AIPAC used that money to slander her and drum votes for Wesley Bell, leveraging her actions in BLM as anti-establishment and a threat to White Order in collision with Republicans and conservative Dems.
TLDR: Cori, as a progressive, threatened the status quo and that's why she was replaced with a milquetoast asset who won't rock the boat. That's all there is to it. This isn't the only example of the DNC protecting itself either. Every one of "The Squad" and those adjacent has faced similar action.
